Privacy Policy – PublishKit ASO

This Privacy Policy explains how PublishKit ASO (the "App") handles data when you use the App. The App is provided by an individual developer. Contact: support@publishkit.app

1) Scope

This policy applies only to the PublishKit ASO macOS app distributed via the Mac App Store.

2) Data We Collect

The App does not collect personal data for storage on developer servers.

The App may handle the following categories of data:

  • Local App Data: Settings and content you enter in the App are stored locally on your device.
  • Logs/Telemetry (Optional): The App may enable minimal logs in the future to improve quality. This is not currently active. If enabled, this policy will be updated.

3) Data Processing & Storage

  • Storage location: Data is stored only on your device.
  • Server-side storage: The App does not store your data in any developer-hosted database or server.
  • Retention: Data remains on your device until you delete it.

4) Network Connections & Third-Party Services

The App connects to the internet for its core features. It may use:

  • OpenAI (text generation/translation)
  • DeepL (translation)
  • App Store Connect (App Store metadata operations)
  • Appfigures (keyword/metrics operations)

Data sent to these services is limited to what is necessary to perform your requested actions. The developer does not store this data in a separate database.

5) Data Sharing

Your data is not sold or shared for advertising or marketing purposes.

6) Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children and does not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

7) User Responsibility

Because the App connects to external services, you are responsible for your own data and any API keys you provide (OpenAI, DeepL, App Store Connect, etc.). The App does not store your data on developer servers.

8) Security

Data is stored locally on your device. The App relies on platform security measures. Additional safeguards may be introduced in future versions.

9) Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated from time to time. Material changes may be communicated in the App or through other reasonable means.
